MY TESTIMONY

Greetings and blessings,

thank you for visiting my page.

My name is Joezel Alicea and I would like to share part of my testimony with you.

Where Everything Began

My wife Ana and I were born and raised in the city of Ponce on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. We began our lives at a very young age; my wife Ana had her first child Alex at the age of fifteen, and I had my princess Maika at sixteen years of age. Ana and I have known each other since we were very young, we were born and raised in the same community. Since childhood, I lived in love with her, but it was not until the last year of high school that we became boyfriend and girlfriend. My dream came true on November 8, 1997, when we joined in marriage.

The Rampage

Two weeks later we moved to the city of Orlando, FL. where because of bad decisions and an unbridled life we lived very difficult moments. That situation brought our marriage to the point of divorce. To try to save our marriage we moved to the city of Stuart, FL. in the year 1999, and that is where we received a visit from our Lord Jesus Christ which transformed our lives forever.

The experience

Although I had had the opportunity to be educated in the gospel, I had never had a personal experience with Jesus Christ. About a month passed and our marital problems continued, anguished and disappointed, Ana cried out to the Father. She suddenly heard His voice which insisted for her to go on her knees and pray. Although first arguing with God, Ana decides to obey his voice and she calls her brother and his wife who lived with them. When she manages to wake up her brother Ana begins to say what God was telling her. They could understand that we were being visited by Jesus Christ himself. At that moment I arrived at the room and realized the visitation;

God was giving us the opportunity to restore our lives and save our marriage!

On that same night, we received Jesus Christ in our hearts, and from that day the transformation of our lives began. That day we saw what is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17 fulfilled in us "So if anyone is in Christ, a new creature is; old things have passed; behold, they are all made new."

A New Life

That same week we started looking for a church and the Lord took us to a very lively Pentecostal church in the city of Stuart, FL. where we were trained and prepared for five years. There I also had the opportunity to graduate from an Associate in Theology at Mizpa Christian University. In 2001 the Lord blesses us with our third son Joezel Jr. (our seer). In November 2004 we were called and sent to the ministry. In response to our call, we moved to the city of Greer, South Carolina, and there we began to shepherd.

Nuevo Comienzo Is Born

In 2009, God calls us to start a new church, and in January 2010 we founded Ministerio Internacional Nuevo Comienzo, Inc. In 2013 we were anointed as apostle and prophet of the Lord in front of an apostolic presbytery composed of different ministers and the congregation.

To this day we continue to enjoy our work for the Lord, restoring lives, freeing the captive, healing the sick, the wounded, raising, equipping and sending leaders, to magnify the kingdom of God.

In The Community

In August 2018, God granted me the opportunity to be certified as a speaker, coach and leadership coach by the John Maxwell Team. I am currently part of the Greer Police Department chaplain team in S.C. I am also a writer for the Fortaleza Cristiana newspaper, a certified member of the John Maxwell Team, and part of the board of directors of RISE UPstate and Casa Cultura International, projects in favor of the Upstate community of South Carolina.

Team Forward and YouTube

In January 2020 God allows me to launch my own Team Forward company, a whole team dedicated to developing the identity of individuals and companies to be launched to the market to succeed and remain. Under the company Team Forward, this page was also born as well as my own YouTube channel dedicated to teaching about ministry, leadership, and lifestyle.
